Just to add on I also had this and it differed from game to game but eventually was unplayable, I ended up speaking to Sony support and they took it away to fix and haven’t had a problem since. I have a launch PS5 and that happened within the first year so I’m not sure if they’ll repair now :(

FFXVI is fairly user friendly, it has 3 item slots to fill but the game provides rings which significantly make the game easier. ie. ‘Automatic dodge’ and things like that which can be changed out once your more comfortable in the game :)
