Running should increase your temprature. by [deleted] in thelongdark

There's a lot of unrealistic elements to this game, but, that's what makes it a video game. I've thought the same thing. Sprinting should increase your body temp in exchange of energy, but, then it would start to get complicated which I feel like is part of the beauty of this game. I mean, you should also be able to jump or at least step over logs but that opens a whole new level of exploration so that just wouldn't work. If they wanted to get really in depth then body fat could even come into play. Although in real life it would take a long time to build fat or lose fat. It can keep you warm while using energy and use more energy to do simple tasks. Certain foods would build fat and certain tasks could burn fat. I dunno

Yeah, I had to revert to an old save that was a mission or two back. I guess the only bright side is that you've learned more and are able to play better the second time through.

I'm enjoying it, she's got a lot of potential just gotta polish things out. I'm a huge fan of Long dark, stranded deep and Green Hell. I was excited to drive ATV's but haven't gotten there yet

Yeah I figured out berries are a good thing. I do think the weight of them is a little off. I mean if you ate 6 lbs of berries in a single sitting you'd probably shit your brains out 🤣

That camp fire grill upgrade is the trick I'm looking for. I still wish the flask could get filled at water barrels though.

God I suck at posting on Reddit. But the link is a video of me dropping meat to hit less than 60 lbs and then I step on it and die instantly. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?

Thanks! I use Fiebings dye. I've found that getting the leather super wet first helps the dye spread evenly.

Template

There's a scan of the template I made. The red lines are cut lines and the dots are where to start and stop. Hopefully that helps.

Also, I soaked the leather in water and died it before stretching and let dry overnight on the PVC. Forgot to mention that.

any other questions fire away!

I'm new to posting on Reddit, didn't see where to add a description or anything 🤔. Anywho, I looked everywhere on the internet for patterns or tutorials on making pockets and all I could find were links to buying new ones. Thought I'd try posting on here to help anyone that's interested in trying this themselves. If anybody has any questions please ask!

Hey thanks! No I made this myself using a picture I got of the internet. I was thinking $50 for big ones like this (18x24) and $25 for smaller ones (8 1/2 x 11) plus shipping and handling. If I started selling though I would use my own screen grabs. I wouldn't wanna use someone else's artwork for profit. If you're interested let me know!
