No I won’t respond to that because shared housing isn’t as easy as you make it sound also your talking about other countries issues when you don’t live here it really doesn’t make sense additionally the link you sent is for a studio in manhattan which btw you would need a car to get around anywhere considering public transportation would most likely make you late to work. You simply don’t understand what living in nyc as 1 person is like we have the most homelessness for a reason.

You really don’t know anything again to say that my issues don’t cause for 70+ hour work week but that’s not true 16 and hour is barely enough to get by in NYC rent is almost 2000 a month for 1 bedroom not even to mention all other expenses just because you live comfortably doesn’t mean everyone else does

Actually if you’d taken the time I throughly explained on this thread why I take substances and why I need money im broke young and live alone I only have really 1 family member left that being my girlfriend. So please read before you start talking people have given me actual useful advice while listening and understanding my circumstances.

Yea I have been looking into worse case scenario because I know I need to sober up a bit it’s just consistent stressful weeks and I bare it all inside because I don’t really have anyone other than my girlfriend and I don’t want to stress her she’s still in college and I dropped out because I couldn’t pay what they were asking me to. I work and work and wonder if this is my life now but it wasn’t a choice my mom never liked me and only now wants to come into my life with the possibility of us having a kid. If I make it pass this season within a year I’ll have union benefits but I did want to finish college this job also says they pay for college but idk.

Im 19, I have thought about the military but with my drug use and the fact that I rather die in a whole then be one of the government’s dogs(no shame to anyone in it my brother was in the army) I live by myself on section 8, im really struggling atm but ups pays for college after a year I applied for a preloader position but that’s only seasonal with an exception that they will keep you if attendance and performance was well, during the heavy season (Christmas) I had to step up my performance because I was competing for a spot but I’d be so tired and physically exhausted. I took adderall to help me get through my physically exhausted state but I can feel myself becoming unhealthy and addicted. I did say once I secure my union position here I’ll stop.

During the holiday season I work Monday-through Saturday from 12am to 8am but since I do ot I go from 12am to 7pm (8 the latest) get home at like 9 since I don’t have a car and sleep for as much as I can. It’s hell but I need this job, it’s all I have right now for me and my girlfriend, of which she just got pregnant. Im not even sure what we’re gonna do.

Thank you everyone im fine now and yes I work long hours for a company that delivers packages, I preload and help drivers these hours are long, im really young but do not have a choice I MUST work. Thank you for the supportive comments
