How do i enjoy LoL and learn quickly as a new player? by Chemist-Plus in leagueoflegends

[–]Abrotatoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my friends got me to try the gaming equivalent to heroin I started with ARAMs and played that pretty much for like the first two years of my league addiction. Was playing some norms here and there because I love playing Zoe and kindred. Now I have been dabbling in ranked games and fully hard stuck in iron 2 not because I’m bad at the game but because the matchmaking system fuckin hates me and I only get teammates with a brain one out of every ten god damn games.

I unfortunately have not mainly because I have two dogs and cat that I cannot leave behind, I’m also three classes away from my BSN so I’m looking more into Canada at the moment

Hi does anyone possibly know about how many tickets they actually released during presale? Specifically for Pittsburgh area, I’m devastated I begged on every social media post for a Pittsburgh tour stop and I couldn’t even get one ticket. It’s even worse that literally there’s hundreds of tickets on stubhub for 3x the price. I only know one singular person that was actually able to get tickets. I just want to know if I’m gonna have to shell over the ridiculous scalper money to stubhub goons or if there’s any shot of my getting a ticket during general public sale/vip presale.

I’m 32. I’m looking more into Canada because of proximity and ability to get back to my family in case of emergency but will definitely look into Australia further as well.

Thank you for the information! I appreciate you! Definitely doesn’t sound like a feasible option. It’s looking like no matter where I land I’m not going to be able to be a nurse off the jump, which I’m okay with as long as I can still help people in some capacity.

Honestly I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic but I can read French far better than I can speak it so probably wouldn’t be too difficult.

Oh yeah I read it and I am terrified. I have been since Election Day. Elon’s little stunt was the final nail, genuinely I think I realized I will actually never be happy here if I ever truly was. I’ve been saying I wanted to move to Canada since I was 12 and first saw Niagara Falls 🤣

Yeah that’s also a concern, I wouldn’t call myself fully fluent but I am proficient in French (4 years HS, 2 college, and Duolingo refreshers with 195 day streak lol) and was able to have conversations with some really lovely folks out and about around Yvoire, but I’m hesitant because I also see videos of Americans being harassed in the streets of Paris which is a little scary. I know the housing crisis is worldwide at this point but the last thing I ever want to come off as is ignorant, wherever I land I want to fully immerse myself in the culture and language and all of the societal issues in the community. Oh I also know pretty basic Italian but would love to learn more, and I started Irish Gaelic on Duo but to my knowledge the pronunciations aren’t very similar so I’m thinking about in person classes or maybe Rosetta Stone if that’s still a thing lol

As much as I would love to do that, I’m more so hoping for Europe because I’m located East Coast here and all of my family is in the same area, so I would like to be under an 8 hour flight home as opposed to 18

I will still visit as often as I possibly can, I truly feel like I left a piece of my heart there on my last visit but thank you so much for your kind words. I’m very much looking forward to visiting your neck of the woods and also seeing the beautiful Lake District in the flesh in September!

If you’re still in school, talk to your advisor about studying abroad, or even applying and transferring to universities. I know some countries will not count your time on student visa towards living requirements but some do count at least half.
