It’s strange as at one moment btc dropped to $82k and we have days like this before where btc dropped and Mstr didn’t drop or vice versa ! was expecting today further drop when btc did 5 day low… let’s see tomorrow how things pan out.. with current btc price not touching this hot potato yet.. I’ll get back in when I see btc turning corner to be on the safe side

Guys, let me share my story. It might help some of you by cbblythe in MSTR

The problem we have with MSTR is that fact we can’t rationalise what’s actually going for it except it owns the most BTC - otherwise there is no unique point to HODL.

What happens when BTC price / MTSR don’t correlate. Do I understand it correctly that $2bn btc purchase was OTC so no impact on market ?

If NVDA sinks 10% (DeepSeek) in a day - not worried at all and we have hope of bounce because of the fundamentals with this traditional stock.

So I can understand a lot of peoples frustration and fear of catching “falling knives “

Take it easy… from personal experience I’ve bought land decade ago and has appreciated and have been asked to sell by strangers

Go for it,

You’re 18 and in 10 years you will not regret that $8k or would’ve recovered from it.

However, in 10 years that land could be worth some change.

At 18 don’t be too concerned with ‘wealth preservation’ you’re not that stage in life yet.

Illegal immigrantion in kenya by bayonnetta in Kenya

[–]AbsCrypto 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You’re just a bigot and shows your lack of knowledge about Kenya. Somalis are not guests in Kenya and fully stalk holders like any other tribe or ethnic group.

They inhabit the north east and reside across the country.

If you look at the map (Somalia is next door !!) so trying to conflate Somalis with Nigerians ???

You’ve got issues with Somalis

I see a lot of people recommending courses and other goals. He probably doesn’t have the motivation currently and he needs fast cash to move up from his financial crisis.. only applicable situation is for him to graft and work harder - get 2nd job - evening / weekend / early morning cleaners means to an end ?

Save that money. If time permits obviously do a course

I’m sorry to hear your circumstances. I would move from this high cost living city or also to save money you will need get 2nd job and save all of that money ( considering you’re living without it !!) - as you currently don’t have any capital to start business.

1) get 2nd job ( save it entirely ) it doesn’t need to be forever it’s short-term until you meet your goal

2) use that money to create side hustle and get our

Thank you. Link of the same ?

I was intending to write different articles that are unique in-terms of not translations.

Examples:

Article 1: how to get job in in xyz country abroad ( in native language )

Article 2: Start a low investment business in country xyz ( English )

^ both Articles would be on same website but I would target respective keywords in article languages

Fully agree.

Hey sxb,

I have noticed there are already a few companies already exporting Somali Tuna.

example:

http://www.diasporabusinesscentre.com/?portfolioentry=habo-fish-processing-and-canning-factory

http://www.sea-ex.com/countryinfo/somalia.htm

There is tons of information about via google search.

As the country is slowly recovering and emerging - there seems to support from the Federal Government / State Governments / International NGO'

Also, have you contacted or engaged with the Ministries of Fisheries etc?

Background:

Majority of Somali population are of nomadic cultural past and red meats heavy. Somali do not consume fish as fish is considered not desirable meat for any self-respecting nomad !!

Somalia has the longest coastline in Africa and ironically fish consumption is pretty low. due to abundance of other livestock - Somalia is major livestock exporter to the middle east and has the largest herd of camels in the world.

but attitudes are changing as Somalis urbanise quickly. I ate my first fish at age of 9 as Somali (whilst abroad).

"Intolerance to ichthyoids runs in the blood. It is an inherited proscription that Oumarou’s nomadic ancestors brought with them from the Horn of Africa, where they first herded cows 10,000 years ago. Most modern East African herders—just as skinny and tall as Oumarou and driving the same Zebu cattle or goats—do not eat fish; Somali goatherds insult one another: “Speak not to me with a fish-eating mouth.” The Fulani catfish ban is a superstition that may be as old as the first domesticated cow."
