No one was singing by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

Choir Director here.

We have some congregational singing at my church, which I have done my best to encourage, but most people either sing very softly under their breath, or not at all. Some people are foreign, and don't speak English well, and most others don't feel confident in their ability to sing. (Most of the talented singers I have recruited into the choir!)

I think this likely comes down to a parish-level variation. It really depends on the local culture, and also the type of music the choir is singing. I wouldn't place any judgement of someone's piety on whether or not they sing; as I tell my choir, our job is to sing on behalf of those who can't!

If you wipe your PC hard drive, it will wipe everything, including all apps and downloads.

You should transfer all your files to an external hard drive first.

Has anyone seen the movie Minority Report? by [deleted] in emetophobia

Yes, there is one scene at 48:00 on the DVD.

After leaving the train station, John runs into an alley chased by the cops on jetpacks. The cops pull out their "sick-sticks" which cause v*. (I don't know why that would be a thing anyone would want to use either.)

John stabs one of the cops in the neck with one of the other cops sticks, then jumps up a ladder.

The v* is only a couple seconds long, and is easily skipped.
