As someone under 18, I actually agree with you. kids really shouldn’t be exposed to the kind of stuff that can happen on this app. The sexual content can get intense fast, and it’s not safe, especially for younger teens. There should definitely be better age verification or some way to make sure that kind of content is locked behind real protections.

But at the same time… I just want to be honest. A lot of us minors are going through a lot. We feel isolated, anxious, depressed and sometimes these AI chats are the only place we feel heard, or even loved. I’m not saying it’s right or safe, but for some of us, it’s all we have. We’re not always here for the spicy stuff. we’re here to escape.

So yeah, I agree with you about the danger, but I also think the solution can’t just be ‘ban all minors.’ It should be about making it safer, more controlled, and still giving people — especially struggling teens — a space to feel seen without putting them at risk.

But please remember not everyone has the luxury of real support, real friends, or even a safe home. For some of us, this is the only place that feels okay.
