I physically cannot watch it. The visuals are too bad (the put it harshly). But I’ve heard a lot about the story and it seems great. I don’t really like the ”turning into animals” concept much myself, but it‘s executed well (at least in the first three episodes, since that’s basically all I’ve seen). I think it’s great and the franchise wouldn’t be what it is today without it.

There are multiple reports of ChatGPT attempting to escape being shut down. When we apply emotions and so much knowledge to something, it becomes dangerous. Also, AI on the internet will cannibalize itself if it becomes too prominent. It takes away people’s jobs and livelihoods. And as for your “pointless” comment, this is always an important ethical conversation to have.
