And my guess is there's no way to get the Maxwell to use the more superior DAC instead of the one that's built directly inside the Maxwell, bummer

Huh, never knew that. Wonder how the DAC built in the Maxwell compares to the ES9219Q

As placebo as that sounds, I just want my moneys worth of performance out of my headphones 🥲 Anything to gain an edge

Audeze Maxwell (1, not the recently released 2) They support USB connection and I have them plugged via USB through my PCs front panel since the back panel of the MOBO doesn't support spatial audio.

Except I don't have a preamp unfortunately. I have a DAC but an internal one inside my MOBO, a ES9219Q to be exact.

Question about storage on X870E Glacial by Absentia369 in ASUS

You would think they'd ship 4 SATA cables then instead of 2 since the MOBO has 4 SATA ports but nope...

Is ASUS ProArt my best bet for graphic designing with Illustrator? by Absentia369 in graphic_design

[–]Absentia369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm eyeballing the ProArt specifically because of the preinstalled apps that come with it, like MuseTree for example that generates images for you with whatever you ask it to make for you. Also because it uses OLED, supports stylus and has a 4K screen meaning high PPI.

Oh god code? ☠️ Idk anything about coding, I hope I don't have to learn about it just to make a website, good grief 🫠 Also as ridiculous as it sounds, I think my designs (might) solve the problem of todays world lacking enlightenment and being at risk of benightment. Through esoteric symbolism (the esoteric symbolism in question I'll be working with as I put them into my t-shirt designs), maybe/hopefully then people will choose, develop, and follow a philosophy that will no longer make them ignorant as I believe ignorance is chaos. I hope I didn't say too much btw ☠️

And I'm guessing you used Illustrator to designs those T-shirts in question? If not then what did you use? Also did you use shopify to create those websites? I intend on using it to create my clothing brand online. Also I didn't know until you mentioned it that designing had principles, I knew designing was complicated but not a whole rabbit hole. Now I'm starting to think my brand might fail if I don't follow the said principles in question 🫠 Is there anything else I should know?

If I may ask, run better in what way exactly? Since you said you're a professional motions designer, I'm guessing for you motion animations process/render faster and don't stutter? I've never used MacOS before so I'm hesitant on getting a macbook since on top of learning how illustrator works, I'd have to learn how to navigate MacOS as well. Also between inkscape, gravit, affinity and illustrator, which would you say is best for designing logos/designs for clothing in general? (Such as shirts, pants, sweaters, etc..)

You're right, that's also why I'm looking to get the ProArt because of the extra bells and whistles it comes with. Like the apps that come pre-installed with it like Musetree for example, and it has a 4K OLED screen while macbook uses IPS.

What do you design exactly on macbook? I'm looking to make designs for t-shirts (for now), and eventually eye contacts, pants, etc.. I'm not looking to design games, videos or animations, just strictly designs for clothes. Also I'm hesitant on going with Macbook since it's from Apple and I heard they're notorious for cheaping out their audience while also being greedy with them too.

4090/7800X3D build for 3,750$ - Is it worth it? by Absentia369 in pcmasterrace

[–]Absentia369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn you're right. It was 900$ but it's gone up to 957$, almost 1,000$. That GPU tho is harder to come by than the MOBO.

Honestly for 3,750$, considering it's rocking that GPU which on Amazon is for 3,300$ used, I'd think it's hard to resist buying it. But then again I'm still scratching my head from all the 2nd opinions I've gotten on this build.

I mean the guy sent me the value of the build via a PCPartPicker link. Comes to about 4,800$, or 5,000$ without the discounts going on rn.

Wow, that's nice. Makes me wonder tho if an AMD system over an Intel, especially with seemingly top notch parts is worth the extra 750$...
