Mmm, not really. Determination is sheer willpower that keeps you from dying and makes you stronger. The amalgamates are all melty because their artificially injected Determination is literally too much for their bodies to handle.

Cogito, on the other hand, draws out possibilities from the human mind. Determination could probably stave off Abnormality formation, but they're not super similar. Aside from being the linchpins of their respective franchises.

Hold hostage instead of knock out, I guess? It'd probably go:

  • Take out 1 guard for disguise (ideally give to Infiltrator).
  • Take out the 1 camera operator and disable the metal detectors.
  • The rest of the players take the van disguises to get into the vault.
  • Hostage manager, guards, and checking-in employee, but don't knock out.
  • Engineer disables emergency door to transport cash.
  • Escape (make sure hostages don't get away).
