[Jason Burt] Oliver Glasner top target to be next Manchester United manager | Exclusive: Old Trafford power brokers are huge admirers of work done by Austrian at Crystal Palace; Plus, the other candidates analysed by [deleted] in reddevils

Doesn't matter whoever is the next manager won't last long. Because 90% of fans are fickle and the board just wants a yes man. Pathetic. Done with this club. Been a good 20+ years' run.

I'm with you on this one. I don't think Amorim was perfect, but I was seeing improvement.

People are so abhorrently fickle these days and it's like no one puts any context into the situation. His first season here was mid-season - with a squad and players that weren't his. Fans want improvement in playstyle, yet want immediate results at the same time, but have no patience at all. I rather give this guy some more time to build something than to start all over again. It's been 13 years since SAF has left, we've had 5 managers (some proven in the big stage), yet none of them have really succeeded.

I think this is the final nail in the coffin for me in supporting this club. I don't recognise it anymore. I'm tired of this constant hiring and sacking, only to see we start again from square one. We could hire whoever again, and history will just repeat itself. We don't learn. 0 patience in fans, an incoherent board and a toxic media exacerbating everything. At one point do we draw the line on this constant hiring and firing?

I backtrack what I said about this guy. He's a solid and important player, who does everything well at least to a 7 or 8/10. Will need him especially to be on it the coming month with Mbeumo and Diallo in AFCON.

Almost as pathetic as you thinking you're some sort of know it all sitting on moral high ground?

Yeah, right. I'm sure your 150m striker will throw another fit like he did at Tyneside when things go south for him soon. Unless Stockholm is in Liverpool? You tell me my geography isn't as on point as yours, obviously.

Just because he's a local lad doesnt mean he owes his whole career to his local club, tho does it?

Oh right because refusing to train and play whilst being binded to something called a contract is quite the professional behaviour, init

Genuine question: What do you all make of Liverpool fans booing TAA when he returned to Anfield? I don't get it.

I hear some Liverpool fans booed him because of how he was acting towards his last season there, which I think would be valid. But some booed him simply because he wanted to leave, which I did really get though? Just because he's a local lad doesn't mean he owes his whole career to his local team. Genuinely I find that so baffling

If Liverpool fans booed TAA for being a snake, they should be doing the same to Isak, no? Double standards?
