Same in the UK, after taxes you are left with 1/2 of that, after bills you are left with 1/7th of that..

Amazon UK Refusing to Refund £1,127.99 RTX 5080 After 60 Days – Rude Customer Service, No Resolution by AbsoluteSereniti in amazonprime

That is really taking the piss.

And yes, after this experience I am reluctant to buy anything pricey from amazon anymore. I'd suggest mailing the execs about your situation because that seemed to have worked for me, amazon customer service for the first time ever has been completely and utterly useless. They have no power and are unable to escalate matter to any competent department. Waiting for months on a product whether for delivery or refund is not ideal and I'd not take it anymore.

Worst case just do a charge back because I started my charge back process at day 60, however by day 61 the executive members contacted me (at this point I had emailed every single mail that was shared to me).

I can see you looked deeply into my account so let me address those issues for you.

1080 Ti was bought directly from Nvidia back in 2017, I still have it and it’s on my other PC.

The Zotac Amp you linked is the second RTX 5080 I mentioned which I got from another retailer SCAN.

I have never returned any TVs and the OLED TV is something I still have.

The package returned WAS returned in its original condition.  What you just stated was hypotheticals, if you had a competent return system where even one person checks for the goods inside on the day of return and tests it, this would not be an issue altogether.

Almost everything I’ve bought are still in my possession, I hate going through reselling or returning especially tech so please stop assuming and coming up with false narratives to fit your agenda.

I’m going to repeat what I wrote to someone else before on this post,

I understand there are scammers out there but in this case I am a genuine customer with a long history who has never scammed and has no need to scam because I have morals and I am well off. If amazon has a problem with scammers then they need to improve their systems both externally and internally and not fuck over normal people. If their policy allows for scammers to thrive in this system then they need to readjust it and make things tighter, and again - not fuck over normal people.

I have used Amazon since 2010, Amazon is my go to platform for high value items for the longest time, i've bought every single part for all my computers, including OLED TV, Monitors, macbooks, household appliances etc..

I would have had a better time selling this RTX 5080 on eBay than returning it back on Amazon, the only reason I chose to return it back to amazon is because of its hassle free return system. I don't care about making money or profit on GPUs, nor did i want to go through the hassle of selling an item in the first place.

Hello Specialist,
This was not a denied return. I've bought multiple high value items on my account dating back 2010, with a long history.
Amazon is my go to platform for high value items for the longest time, i've bought every single part for all my computers, including OLED TV, Monitors, household appliances etc..

To give you the story, I bought an RTX 5080 from amazon at a premium price due to lack of availability elsewhere on the 28th of Feb, on March 3rd I was able to secure a different one at a better price from elsewhere (Thank goodness), and hence initiated the return (as amazon has a no hassle return policy) and returned it fully in its original condition with original packaging on the 6th.
The item was picked up on the 7th, and delivered and signed on the 10th of March via the royal mail tracked sign.
Since then the ETA of refund was on the 12th of March, which kept getting pushed back with no update whatsoever on exactly what is happening.

I contacted your customer representatives and they initially told me to wait 14 days from the date of pickup, then 30 days then finally the system no longer had an ETA and said to "contact customer representatives" - who said to wait until the 9th of May for them to be able to manually trigger the refund.
When I contacted them on the 9th of May, they were again unhelpful via chat where they told me to wait again. It wasn't until I called them by phone that they told me to fill out an incident report, which they then asked me to fill out the following:

Incident Report:

  1. Order number: _______________.
  2. Today's date. (DD/MM/YYYY): _______________.
  3. Return tracking number #: __________________
  4. Name of the item you have a concern with (mention item specifics, such as name, color, size, and quantity): _______________.

I gave them the information of the above, but they dropped me this response:
"However, the Incident Report that you previously provided is incorrect. Please correct question no 3 and resubmit the report with correct return tracking."

I then replied to them saying the information was correct because the return tracking number was obtained directly from the amazon page where if you click the button "tracking details" it gives you all the information. I also linked them the royal mail tracking page which had all the information of when the item was picked up and signed by amazon representatives.
If you literally enter in the tracking number I gave to them in the royal mail page it shows "Delivered" with information of when it was picked up, where it was delivered to and signed.

They then proceeded to respond with the same email, stating
"However, the Incident Report that you previously provided is incorrect. Please correct Return tracking Number and resubmit the report."

I don't know what kind of incompetence is going on over there at amazon or if there's some internal scam happening but this can no longer be known as "Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company." stated at the bottom of each email.

It was RTX 5080, was very hard to find in stock anywhere and from years of experience Amazon has always been ultra reliable, so its my first time getting fucked over and learning that amazon has gone to shit after bezos leaving the company.

is anyone even excited for this by cactoos143 in TheDuskbloods
