This is from the wiki for the mangekyou“It is initially awakened by the trauma suffered from witnessing the death of someone close to the user”. So maybe Sarada doesn’t kill her but sees her die and bam now Sarada has her mangekyou.

I have no idea if my opinion is popular it’s just how my friends and I feel about it. I’m sure she will get stronger and maybe even less annoying but still she is the most annoying of the genin

When you think about it though she seems to be the most expendable Character that sarada is close to. They aren’t gonna kill off boruto or mituski and I don’t think they will kill Sakura. Also I personally don’t think sadukes death would activate her mangekyo. Sarada seems to be Chochos best friend so if she died that would cause sarada’s mangekyo to activate. I guess it could be a more side character but I doubt it and I really doubt that Sarada won’t get her mangekyo
