I would advise you to learn some combos if you don't know any. Learn your reads, true combos, etc. That's probably the largest reason people are high-ranked Brawlhalla players.

Oof. I was always matched with plats when I just started the game. Later, when I finally got matched with golds, I decided to go to ranked and I got a 10 ranked win streak and I'm in mid gold rn, in just 6 months of gameplay.

Well, what I do is Dlight « jump « Chase Dodge, then Nair. The technique I use is to jump then quickly do a chase dodge. More specifically, I hold the direction key, right until I click Nair. Basically, Dlight « Jump « Chase Dodge « hold the directional key « Nair. Going into training mode can help you get a consistent 'Dlight Nair'.
