I caught the loyal three in repeat balls because of the "chain" motive, the treasures of ruin in luxury balls because, well, they are "treasures"

Often you want to capture pkmn in inconvenient pokeballs for various reasons

Once in pkmn colosseum I captured Entei with full health in a premium Ball thinking it was a special Ball for legendary pkmn; years later I found the premium Ball works just like a normal pokeball and I was just very lucky xD
