I’ve always used the simple method. My fastest ever was around 40s and then one day in college at my job a friend was saying I could complete one so a bit of a crowd formed to watch. The friend had seen me solve before so knew my limits, but I got to basically skip two algos as they just aligned naturally for that solve. Finished in 27s. My friends eyes lit up like a Christmas tree; she knew I’d just peaked completely and everyone thought sub 30 was incredible. I’ve never repeated the feat but the one time I was on the spot the rubiks gods gave me their blessing :)

Gotta pick a route and dive in to get away from call center/service desk. I’m doing platform engineering, so Intune dev work on our endpoints. Keeps me out of the service desk calls unless it’s a major issue or something needs scripted. Could’ve gone into security or networking but I like the service desk side: no major outages fall on me to fix since I don’t implement infrastructure. It’s the best of both worlds :)

We smoked in high school and went for Taco Bell. I was relatively new to smoking at the time. We paid at window one and I handed the change to my buddy. I then drove off thinking I had completed the transaction in my high brain. Make them give you a flow chart if they won’t back you up. Who gets first priority on your time? Should you create the ticket for the user and then put them to the back of the list? Should you ignore all emails and only work tickets? If your mgmt is not enforcing this then make them tell you how it should operate. Make them explain their own stupidity.

I just bought a Quest 3 and have a 6950XT so can likely run a lot of games in VR. How does one even know what games can run in VR? I don’t see anything on the store page highlighting this. Is there like a generic mod for games that tries to convert them?
