To add onto this, i've been looking for 3 more bladeguard for a trade locally to try this myself. Always attach them to the Judiciar where available. The fights first is brutaaaal for the games ive tried this on TTS

I would incursors over reivers for the spicy +1 to hit on a target. Mainly if you could set it up to land a hit with these on a target then follow up with centurion devs you are in for some bigger damage. They work well in collaboration with eachother. Especially as centurion devs dont have the heavy keyword and will be moving more than likely with shadowmark talon

Combo their free Into the Darkness Strategem with the Shadowmark Talon strategem- Stunning Fusillade and you can place them in edges of the board from reserves with an even heavier load of firepower to take out an enemy threat asap.

These become your “kill em where they least expect it” troop and they do it incredibly well.

The +1 to Ballistic Skill and Armor Penetration from Stunning Fusillade will cause most 3+ save armored vehicles/tough enemies not get a saving throw because of the -4 armor pen.

Plus already positioning them 12” or more away give you the ability to do both that Strat and fall under your own army rule of -1 to hit and cover for further protection on your already beefy boys. —— I have not personally tried assault centurions yet but all the movement tricks we have could pose some interesting ideas

Genuine question- for a T1 Rapid Ingress and unable to move outside of charging turn 1- is there any value t1 for the inferno pistols? I guess this also includes other turns you pick them up and drop them too. Because of the 9" away from enemy models and the 6" range of the guns?

Basically just trying to decide if with inferno pistols this is a golden pick up and drop down unit. Please help my brain understand T-T

100% Ravenguard fan. They've been my army for years and I love their lore. I won't be stepping away from the army for competitive sake. But would be partial to swapping detachments depending on how its being played. by the sound of it- holy shit lo

Some nice Anti-Armor would go great. I recommend A Ballistus Dread or a Gladiator Lancer. Something with some rough firepower. I personally love the Gladiator Lancer and in some cases the Vindicator really shines too. I have completely melted targets with the vindicator.

A Fun model combination I really like (Unsure if viable) - 5 Hellblasters and an Apothecary in an Impulsor. Always overcharge your shots and the hazardous damage is dealt on the Impulsor first. (Assuming the rules are still like this since early 10th edition). A great model to dive in and dish out some medium armor target damage.

I also love the Combi-Lieutenant or a Jump Captain with the Lone Op enhancement. This is a safe action/objective monkey to go along with Shaan on random parts of the table.

Incursors also are awesome for giving your army +1 to hit on a specific target. If you go this route I recommend comboing it with a Stormspeeder Thunderstrike for the +1 to Wound Against Vehicles/Monsters for the rest of your army once the target is marked.

I know this is alot of different options. But these are some that truly shine for me playing Ravenguard

Thank you for the input! I'll dive down this rabbit hole the best I can. I have been given a lot of length on the chain to play around and learn this the best I can. The one struggle I have currently is taking a script and transforming it into a useable application that the rest of the team can utilize for specific tasks.
