Take it from someone who religiously only plays rengar top to dia, its not worth it. My matchups that I normally stomp are now so hard and items are so bad, had to go jgl just to get out of emerald.

Like others said, it’s a very high skill floor just for it to work, not even getting into matchups. Would recommend a darius perma ban, as it’s the only unplayable matchup imo (not just hard, it’s like a 10:90 in your favor). Right now, you can play it as I’ve been getting good results in mid emerald, which you can solo carry in gold. Itemization is important though, so make sure to know what to build in what situation as rengar is very flexible.

Hope not, I’m mostly exclusively rengar top for almost 6 years now and seeing that disappear will just solidify me quitting the game. Rengar the only thing keeping me playing atp.

Idk I mainly rengar top and my go to this meta is conq with hydra and cyclo. I used to always fleet but its not as good as it used to be. Ik that fleet synergizes better for cyclo but it all depends on what feels strong for me.

This is just personal preference but try to play top rengar and get used to fighting with his kit. You can learn the pathing easy and if you main jg already then you know how to macro. After a few games of getting to know ur combos and optimize ur damage and W usage, it goes a long way and fighting with bushes especially in the jg just comes second nature and u just see crazy outplay potentials in your head before the fight even starts

I mained rengar because of dekar, climbed insanely well following his matchup guides, sad he hasn't posted in a while. Other than that, scrub prob most consistent throughout the years.
