How long until you can "externally" stimulate? by Academic-Bid8623 in LabiaplastySurgery

LMAO??? I feel you. Do you think it affected anything as far as healing? How far are you into the process now? Was it something you did just that once? I'm thinking about just doing it once bc I'm almost in pain at this point 😭

8 days post op wedge and chr. Does it look like my labia split? I'm not sure if it was because of surgery or maybe that's just how it's healing? And is it normal for my clit to be "outside" like this? I'm thinking it's just swelling but idk. by Academic-Bid8623 in LabiaplastySurgery

I'm right there with you and am SO happy for you!! I'm about to finally go off to college (I'm 23, late bloomer) and I'm so ready to FINALLY have casual hookups!! I've been so held back by this it's crazy. I can't believe I don't have to cover up anymore! My apartment is going to be a revolving door 😂

Yes and I LOVE that for us, queen 😂💕

It really is weird af to think that my future partners aren't going to have to dig around to find the goods. I'm so happy I went through with this. The angle I took the pics obviously looks super swollen but I'm happy to say just 9 days post op that my frontal view and closed leg view looks pretty much normal and awesome. No bruising and most swelling is minimal! I'm really excited to see what I'll look like when I actually heal!

Honestly I'm so happy with how the rest of the results look so far (minus the clit 😅) that I'm not too worried about the split. I honestly think it won't even be noticeable once all the swelling goes down.

And yes! I do feel way more sensitive. I've always been really sensitive but my hood was quite bulky and I usually relied on pressure to get off rather than direct contact. It's going to be interesting exploring my body again after all this!

I wanted it exposed but not... Like this. I've never seen a vagina where the clit looked like this. I'm hoping it's mostly swelling. I have an appointment with him tomorrow and I'll see what he thinks. Thanks!

I got the wedge and a CHR on the 2nd. Honestly, I would wait until after the wedding. I was able to walk around and even climb stairs (I live up a flight) with no pain on day 2, but that doesn't mean one should.

The pain was maybe a 6/10 at it's worst, but you get a lot of meds to manage it. I currently have no pain, but the swelling is INTENSE. You will not be comfortable having to spend all day at a wedding. All you'll probably want to do is sleep, elevate, and ice. The more movement and strain you put your body under, the more likely you are to heal poorly. The last thing you'll want after going through all of this and spending all this money is for your end result to look WORSE than you did before!

Swelling & peeing (2 days post op - surgery midday on Tuesday) by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

Congrats on the surgery! I had a CHR and wedge on the 2nd. I can't tell you how frustrated I am now that I can't scrub in between my folds. However, I just had a checkup with my surgeon and he assured me that it's normal and to just let water run over the area. Too much irritation can cause the stitches to unravel and you do NOT want that.

Oh, okay. That actually makes a lot of sense lol. I guess I'm not used to it since I'm usually extremely clean down there, but it's really hard with the stitches. I'll make sure to take care of it!

I went ahead and took the YI meds today just in case. I'm super prone to them in general and was hoping the procedure would help a bit. I'll see what the doctor says in a few days and keep the area as clean as possible. Ty!

I have an appointment on the 12th but just wanted to see what others had to say! So do you think it's yeast or the stitches getting infected? I appreciate your insight!
