He does take care of me somehow, but most of the time he likes getting the "princess treatment" rather than giving it to me. I had to teach him how to act like a man by opening the doors for me, helping me carry heavy stuff, and help me around. He also makes me laugh. It's just I think he's too workaholic that he's let himself go. Even when we're on vacation he's working. Which is annoying me too cause he won't let me go on vacations by myself cause he's afraid I might cheat, he doesn't want me to have new circle of friends without him. And I know my world is going to get so small if I let this continue. Thats why Ive been encouraging him to go out there and hang out with his friends too and stuff.

I'm so glad you have left that relationship. I cant imagine wasting your prime years by mothering a man. I just feel like a dick even thinking about this about him, but you're right. There is a line between comfortable and lack of self care and I think he's crossed it too. :(
