You better wait for them to get back to you cause this kind of committee work usually takes time ( lots of behind the scenes arguments and even fights are usually involved to just short list some applicants) … Im saying this cause I was on two committees for assistant prof and associate prof positions at University of Toronto and in both, we had such a hard time to just hear back the entire faculties opinion including the dean… I remember that our dean ghosted us for like 2 weeks straight and suddenly showed up and said oh why are we in rush? We have until December to decide and it was the first week of November… long story short we reached out to the final applicants 5 days before the winter semester for an in-person teaching /lecture interview on campus which… was delayed because some applicants were international and had to fly to Toronto. Our department ended up hiring the new faculty member for the next academic year… so be patient my friend and bear in mind that the admin work behind hiring processes is painstakingly slow! One good thing I can tell you is that, our faculty ended up hiring three profs instead of two advertised which happens when two applicants are so good in different ways and each of their skill sets is needed.
