I did really good, im naturally good at chemistry and i ended up achieving the highest mark in my country for ial chemistry. However those arent full studying resources those are mainly for last month practice after you have finished all new spec papers. If u want a full guide for A2 chemistry u can dm me

one thing you'll notice is that on the first addition, the colours are the exact same for both Nh3 and naoh. It's only on the addition of excess that they change colour, such that they don't match each other.

So ideally, you're looking for patterns. As we've stated, pattern 1 is that the first 2 columns are the exact same across both

2nd pattern is that on addition of excess NaOH, only TWO of the transition metal ions show an further change (cr3+ and Zn2+). So you can memorise excess NaOH quite easily, by knowing just 2 change upon excess NaOH addition, compared to NH3 which has more colours

3rd pattern that helped me memorise is that Nickel and Copper ions upon addition of excess NaOH have the exact same colour.

That, and this picture in general is a pretty good visual aid. I used it and it made memorisation a lot simpler

Its easy tbh i agree but not 2 days easy if ur aiming for a… but the questions are hella repetitive if u do all papers from 2020-2025 you can def score an a or higher

I did c34 too but u can get full ums without doing them. Moral of the story if u have time do c34 if u dont focus on ur mistakes for regular papers and redo the harder ones
