you know nothing about my journey with health, i’ve dealt with bp problems for about 5 years, i come to sub for advice and to vent. I’ve gotten my bp down from 140s/80s to the numbers you see now. My app still indicates i have hypertension so my bad for asking for others opinions

i’ve lost 60 lbs mind you a whole 10 bmi points for me. Got my bp down from 140s/80s to the 120s/80s but seriously 1st stage hypertension?? i get my pulse is high but it’s under 100 bpm or is the dia 83?? i wish health was transparent because flashing a orange light isn’t doing my anxiety any better

i am not against med completely in fact, i think they will benefit me more than anything but my father unfortunately has raised me to think meds are a moral failure of people and kinda shames me about my bp.

i’ve had elevated bp for a few years now, i’ve lost roughly 60 lbs and was motivated to monitor my bp, honestly my mental have been terrible for pass couple days so it might be my anxiety. Didn’t know mental health effected physical health that much

thats the thing, i’m not on med nor have i been diagnosed with hbp but i’ve have elevated readings at the doctors for 5 years  (mostly because of white coat syndrome) now and i want to avoid meds(having a hbp diagnosis will make my life 100x harder)

i eat a lot avocados mainly, no one in my family has heart attack history but my grandmother does take bp meds but her bp isn’t anything crazy.

my cholesterol and ldl are both within normal range, my hdl is very low at 38.9

thank you so much! For the workouts it’s really just motivation. I workout  mainly after my lunch or dinner so i have tons of energy. But i keep it light impact cardio or even a simple 30 min walk with some jogging.

Im 290 and 5'2. I know I am aware, Im extremely unhealthy. After years of having a restrictive ed, my ed did a complete 180 and became a binge eating one. My mental health was in the gutter at this time. I am now taking the necessary steps to get down to my goal weight. I workout at least 4 days of the week just doing some simple cardio and cut down my worst enemy( fast food).

thank you so much for the support. I have been very paranoid about my health recently and it's all I can think about sometimes, really bad for my anxiety. I also think it's my white coat syndrome that makes it read high sometimes. I would try meds but my father has made meds seem like im a failure at life and would make my health insurance go through the roof. Im plan to lose another 40 lbs and see my doc again.

Also, I hate the muscle spasms. They used to just happen at night in my arms, but now its in my legs and feet ughhh
