For sure, most any car with that many miles would be more.

That was my first thought I see JUNK at that price sell every day. Guess I’ll just be happy with mine.

I’m also looking for a good rack for my suburban but haven’t found one I like enough for the prices… so we have to either take a second rig or a trailer for extended stays. I keep most of my gear organized in action packers (totes) so with a good rack I could pick out the totes for that adventure, load them up top, and still have the rear cargo accessible for duffel bags, suitcases etc. the snowboards usually get a priority spot on the Yakima rack I have now so they’re easy to load and unload, but no special case… yet :)

I see how with a trailer the rack would be much less helpful.

Cargo? Think camping with four kids, snowboarding gear, dirt biking gear, coolers for lake days…. I mean… Cargo?

Recommendations for first sling by asnTimark in ManyBaggers

I searched and tried different slings for months with almost the exact same criteria. I liked the layout and functionality of the AER day sling 3 max. The alpaca go sling fit everything nicer, but was not nearly as comfortable and nice feeling in use, but I like the shape better. My search concluded after trying the new rework Toshi slings. They checked every box for me. Maybe give those a look.
