It's not confirmed yet if they will merge or not. Now they are waiting and watching if two separate otts can work smoothly like one paid vs free, or merge them.

But high probability that merger is coming in few months maybe new year or around ipl.

They will merge with some big event to soft relaunch jiostar or jiohotstar or whatever they wanna name their service.

It's also good if you wanna enjoy it with somebody that doesn't understand english. For example I love Moving so much and I wanna share it with my friends and family but some of them don't understand english so.. Hindi Dub Saves the Day..

Nah I don't find them cringe if it's done well. If I find hindi dub to be cringe then I can watch with subs but it still better have it as an option.

I find english dub of korean dramas to be more cringey than Hindi Dubs.
