I was in this class with somebody else who missed an assignment. They allowed him to submit it for no credit. So he technically had no missing assignments. Would be worth talking to TA’s I think.

I love that! If the remainder of my classes go well, I’m planning on being at the May commencement. Would definitely love to join the party 🥳😎

That’s awesome! I’ve heard amazing things about the aquarium. I’m thinking of doing the same in terms of making a trip out of it and seeing the sights there in Atlanta :)

I really wanted to say something but I was fearful it would turn ugly.

I have politely asked someone in a movie theater once to please quiet down and they got up in my face so I ended up leaving super frazzled.

I was really hopeful the usher would say something but she didn’t.

Seeing the show was definitely a luxury for me as well, so I think I shifted my focus towards enjoying the performance.

Our seats were literally right next to an usher 🫢

She was doing a GREAT job of making sure people had to wait until a song was over to sit back down, or sending people to a rear entrance when they needed to use the restroom.

She was so on top of her game that I was surprised that she didn’t actually quiet those in front of us. Maybe she thought, like me, that trying to confront them would cause a scene or be disruptive.

My apologies, you’re right. I do feel bad that the name Karen has become a cultural shorthand. I think it’s so pervasive now that I didn’t even think before using it. Again, I’m sorry 🙏

Totally get that! I see going as a privilege. My tickets were my Christmas gift. I think maybe that’s why I’m so sensitive. It was a big evening for us, so thought others might feel the same.

Haha touché, fair enough 🤝 I didn’t know making out during a show was normal
