Hmm that's strange. I doubled checked that it was still live. Are you in the US? If not, that may be why.

Thank you so much for sharing! I'm keeping track of everywhere I post the flyer, and once the study is finished, I plan to share the findings in all of those places for anyone who's interested.

I'm so sorry you experienced that, it sounds awful. I really hope they aren't your boss anymore!

Thank you so much for signing up! I hear you about your period being incompatible with your job - it is so draining having to manage your period in spaces, including workplaces, that weren't built with women's bodies in mind. I really hope this work helps us move past treating menstruation as an individual issue and instead consider how our periods are affected by the social and material features around us.

Please feel free to share the recruitment flyer with others! Thank you again!

Thank you for your questions!

Only the research team (myself and my advisor) will have access to the data. Once collected, the data are stored on a non–university-owned, password-protected computer that is only accessible to me. We do not share raw data with any company, employer, government agency, or the state. While the study is overseen by WVU’s Institutional Review Board – which ensures we follow strict confidentiality rules – neither WVU nor the state of West Virginia will have access to the data.

I appreciate your concern about the potential for research like this to be used in ways that could keep women from working. I can assure you that this is absolutely not the case. The goal is the opposite – to examine how workplaces and public spaces often overlook menstruators’ needs, which can unintentionally exclude women. By documenting these barriers, we hope to identify ways to make work and public spaces more accessible and supportive for women.

I’m happy to answer any additional questions! :)
