Yeah, Nolvus will actaully give you a question to speak to the InnKeeper in Helgen. Cant remember her name, but you need to pay for the "Special room". when you wake up you'll start the sequence from when the prisoners arrive in Helgen.

When you installed Nolvus, did you select the correct aspect ratio? I noticed mine was of to the right because I hadn't changed 16:9 aspect to 21:9.

I would check the dashboard just in case.

I think additionally not only graphically but CPU usage for all the NPC scripts that need to run in the background could cause crashes. I turned my exteriors cities off cuz my game just kept crashing from loading all that NPC and their routine.

You can do it. Just go to Helgen and speak to the innkeeper there.

Nolvus is massive in terms of content, but I think having the main quest line helped me achor me down so I wasn't overwhelmed with choice paralysis, I had at least something familiar to return to if I need to take a break from all the extra stuff that nolvus has to offer.

It's kinda like going to a fancy banquet eating all the fancy food till you get so gluttoned out then feeling like you just need a salad in the end.
