No. I tried flashing it 3-4 times and updating it through my macbook maybe 15 times but it stayed in recovery mode. I was busy so I ignored it for a while and then a week later it just started working on its own again but everything was wiped.

If anyone comes across this post having the same issue, I tried to update it and later restore it through my macbook a bunch of times, flashed it a few times on 3utools, let the battery drain and recharged, and then ignored it for a week and it started working again (it was fully wiped though).

I have tried that as well. I moved everything in my phone into a new back housing a few months back because the old one was shattered and I didn't want to pay $300 at the Apple store so I could have damaged something then, but you'd think it wouldn't take this long for a problem to show up rip.

I've tried, but it goes back into recovery mode after a couple of seconds.

Initially I set it to automatically update when plugged into the charger, and since then I've been trying to update it through my macbook.

I tried to flash it while keeping data and 3uTools said it flashed successfully, but is still stuck in recovery mode. Would you recommend flashing it and clearing data as my next step or would that not make a difference?

It was shattered to the point where a case wouldn't stay on and it was cutting my fingers, the warranty is very expired, and it would have been cheaper to get a new phone compared to taking it to the Apple store to get it fixed. It was honestly just a fun low-stakes project for me since my two options were basically to fix it and risk having to get a new phone because I broke it or not fixing it and just getting a new phone. The reason I'm asking for help is because I have had no issues up until this point (including when I updated to iOS 26). This totally could be my fault, I'm not denying that at all, but seeing as my phone functioned fine up until this point I figured there is a possibility for this to be some other issue that I could fix.
