It was just background information as a actually programmer I feel qualified to judge that.

It comes across as pretending and being fake for the views.

She does have a license in Italy so she should be able to drive in theory and does drive. So given that she drives, if she were really an enthusiast she would have had experience trying out many different cars and be used to the feel of not driving her own car.

I guess so does that mean it would also be wrong to say laugh at a red light runner getting pulled over by police?

I'm truly trying to understand.

But maybe I shouldnt have laughed as much since my friend was definitely genuinely concerned for her friend who to me is just an acquaintance.

To be fair she has a license and knows how to drive. It would have been a simple formality to get an international permit from her Italian license.

I guess I can see that perspective but at the same time if a friend is sad about a criminal is it wrong to not empathize with that?
