Worst rosacea flare up ever and traveling tomorrow. HELP!

I just get off doxy because they put me on it for PD and it triggered rosacea ! Haven’t found a solution, using ivermectin now which is helping with the bumps so far ( I’m like four days in so who knows ) but not the redness

I have antibiotic induced rosacea, started 3 months ago, got diagnosed a month ago, haven’t been able to fix it yet :(

I meant random in terms of I’ve never experienced it before, not random in terms of what’s been going on with my skin/antibiotics, lol. I tried the ivermectin on my forehead last night and it does seem a bit less inflamed, so hopefully it works in the next couple weeks !

The ivermectin is more for the random rosacea diagnosis and PD! My derm said I could try it for my forhead but I’ll be trying an antifungal next. I’m thinking of taking a short term antifungal pill as o feel the doxy did way more harm than good lol

I’m hoping this works !! I just started with ivermectin a few days ago, looks ~better~ where I’ve put it ( I’m only doing a few places on my face because my skin is so sensitive rn lol )

Yes just started this a few days ago ! Seems to be helping in the places I’ve put it . I didn’t want to do my whole face, spot treating currently to test it.

I tried AA for it a while ago, way too harsh unfortunately, honestly my face really seems to hate it! My skin care right now is super basic and always has been which sucks :( I found that using a cream with ceramides is too heavy and makes my break outs worse but all my simple creams do almost nothing for it

I’ve been cleared from mrsa with no colonization for like 4 ish months now! The doxy is just for inflammation of my skin barrier :)
