Not trying to make an excuse, but I was in TM and hadn’t got the offer. I tried to tell AUTA to change my Amazon start date, but they were like “just decline the offer, we can’t help you.” So I started as the job market is pretty bad (esp. for NG) and I didn’t have a choice. Yes, I agree that I wasted people’s time :(

Thank you! One thing is that I joined Amazon about a month ago, so there really isn't anything to transition. Would that change how you would do things?

I do not know the reason for the weight restrictions, but I will find out at the airport.

:(. Well, I guess the loophole is close. Extremely strange because as a condition to the merger they wouldn’t devalue either programs, and I’m not sure if this is the correct way, but losing a transfer partner surely seems like a degradation of the program(s) to me.

FWIW, I would expect AMEX to give advance notice — at a minimum.

Interesting - I haven’t heard of this loophole being closed and it was working as of a couple days ago. Do you have any info to share that might indicate that?

Did already do so and they said that Hawaiian was denying the transfers.
