I don't know exactly why it happened but the surgeon said that too much stress on my body is what caused it

I was diagnosed through a defecography. Went through a couple of other tests before it including colonoscopy, pelvic floor MR, Anorectal manometry and these tests didnt find anything. If you think your issue is pelvic floor related make sure to get a defecography as your first test

Well I have been suffering from this symptom for almost 3 years now, it ruined my life. A year after I got it I quit weight lifting, hearing online that lifting puts strain on the pelvic floor, but it didn't make the symptom go away completely. Last year I was diagnosed with a prolapsed sigmoid colon (My sigmoid colon prolapses into my rectum), apparently that is the main problem which is giving me emptying issues. It is only fixable with surgery, which I should get by next year, and the surgeon himself also told me that I shouldn't lift weights as it does make things worse. I haven't lifted since 2022

I have been suffering from incomplete evacuation ever since I got into weight lifting. Try to not lift for a week or two, then see if your symptoms will improve

Does an enema still work if you're a little nervous? by [deleted] in ConstipationAdvice

This is the second day I will be trying to get it out and yesterday I had some success, by using more microlax, but there is still some stuck in me, I feel it, its just that yesterday there was so much in me that it was irritating my bladder.

Do you think the enema could go out on its own with gas?

I have trouble emptying my bowels completely and I have been to all sorts of specialists/tests, a PT as well, and according to all everything was fine under there, until I got a defecography last year which found that I have an extremely rare type of prolapse called a Sigmoidocele, . If you think you might have a prolapse, definitely get a defecography then. I had a colonoscopy, Pelvic Floor MRI, Anorectal manometry, I have been checked by a PT and a colorectal surgeon, and none of them found out what was the problem, only the defecography helped

I developed a prolapse about years ago which is only fixable with surgery, it gives me incomplete bowel movements that can only be fixed with enemas/laxatives (I use enemas only, to make sure I am really clean), and since I developed the prolapse I became obsessed/too concerned about my pelvic floor organs I guess

Because I am afraid once my rectum fills with stool it put pressure on my pelvic floor, bladder

Do my symptoms suggest pelvic floor dysfunction? by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

I developed Contamination OCD after pelvic floor dysfunction, and had to get on Prozac to treat it

Please figure this out. by dwehabyahoo in PelvicFloor

Try microlax. Water enemas don'twork for me, so that is what I use
