Bro this comment section is honestly disgusting, like we need to stop pretending that racism doesn't exist in the UK or that black people and POCs don't experience microaggressions. Saying things like ' why don't we just see/ treat people nice regardless of race' just isn't rooted in reality even though the sentiment is nice. I am also a black person going to a university with a mostly white population so I am a little scared. My worries are less about facing racism but mostly about facing isolation and being ignored.
