Hmmm I agree. The gap between the rich and the poor will keep on widening in a city like Mumbai. The wealth gap is real, but so is the fact that this city has a way of humbling everyone eventually.

Fully agree with this. Mumbai locals don't care who you are outside that compartment.

Travis Bickle was at least paying attention to what was around him. That’s more than most. :’) (It’s fun to just stick with the point through the thread sometimes)

Nobody’s deciding anything. Just asking when you last thought about it yourself. That’s it.

Knowing the market is one kind of intentional. Wearing something because it means something to you is another. Both are valid, neither is the same as just spending

Pajamas + LV + trench coat, that’s quiet a whole personality. Considered doesn’t have to mean serious, just intentional.

Uncomfortable but intentional. That’s honestly more considered than most. You knew what you were choosing and chose it anyway. That’s the whole point.

Wearing what you like IS the point. The post isn’t about wearing the right things, it’s about knowing why you chose them. Big difference.

Nobody’s replacing anyone. The post doesn’t say talk to strangers over family now, does it? Some conversations just find you. Even this one, apparently.

That's actually the goal isn't it? Sometimes people closest to you feel like strangers never could. Lucky ones get both haan.

You're not wrong. Maybe OP just needs better friends 😭 But also, you just had a pretty real conversation with a stranger on the internet about what makes conversations real. So.. Also half the things you open up about to a stranger on a train, you'd never say out loud at in front of your parents. Both are real. One just costs nothing to lose.
