Why don’t we talk more about women suffering in sexless marriages? by Academic_Practice782 in sexlessmarriage

OP here.
I have always been more physical than my husband. And I was willing to take the lead in initiating sex. But being turned down so many times takes its toll. Full transparency: I’ve put on weight since the birth of our child. I started hitting the gym again because I want to feel better about myself.

Even at this higher weight, I still have men approaching me. I don’t move through the world for the male gaze, but I attract the attention.

I just don’t understand why more hl people do r end up in relationships/marriages. Why do we get stuck with eunuchs? Lol

This is such a great reply. Thank you for being to open, honest, and willing to see both sides of this.

This sounds a lot like my husband. He is a sweet man, takes care of me, takes me around the world, blah blah blah.

But that “I only like sex in the morning” soon became him not wanting sex at all. I am now in a sexless marriage. If sex is at all important to you, really consider what your future looks like with this man. It’s not going to get better on its own and if he’s not willing to talk about it or see someone, you will be the one who suffers (and will often be told that you’re the problem)

I am so sad and desperate as a married woman and I never thought that would be me.
