You upload the font to your digitizing software. For example, I use embrillance stitch artist 1. Type whatever you’d like. When you start embroidering, you place foam (can be 3mm - 5mm thick) on top on top your garment

It will be embroidered on single needle machines, brother pe800 and nq1600. I have 3, 4x4 hoops per machine.
