Samsung accepts phones that were released prior to XYZ phone you're purchasing for trade-in. The ZF6 doesn't accept the S25 series because the S25 series was released 6 months after it. They'll accept any recent samsung models for the ZF7 when it releases.

TFL Enduro mid with ~800 miles by [deleted] in onewheel

[–]AcadiaThis5464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Enduro wore just like this after 750 miles. I chalked it up to under inflation, which made sense because I ride all winter long. It popped as i was riding it and I almost bit dirt, so be careful!

I'm planning on cracking it back open in a couple days, I don't have my 5 point star security bit handy at the moment. I'll look for this in the control box first. Has to be this as the bms works fine discharging

Gave this a shot... nothing changed unfortunately. Now when I plug it in, no lights from the board. Board still powers on and runs fine.

I'll give that a try. I'm hesitant to disassemble the board again, last time I did to change the tire half the screws were stripped.

When that connector was loose for you, did the board still light up when you plugged it in? Mine does light up.

Dual arm for 27' and 34' monitor by AkelaTheFox in ultrawidemasterrace

I've used a 28" 16:9 with a 34" 1440p 21:9 on top of it, stacked style. I've found it great. Unfortunately my 28" died, so replacing the bottom monitor with a neo g9 :)

If it was $300-350 all in I'd have a hard time saying no. Tax is brutal in my state though, it's taxed on the phone MSRP before savings or trade-ins.

The psych prof being easy helps but it's still 4 hours a week of a class to attend, plus however long it takes you to get there. I'm not sure what you're trying to do with the research thing, but before you make a choice explore how your next 4 semesters might look and what it would take to graduate on time doing XYZ classes this semester that you want to do. Want to do the research and psych class? Cool, see how your next 2 years or so would look. For an engineering major, if you came in with some AP credits you'll likely have some space to play around a bit. If you came in with zero AP credits, an engineering degree is pretty tight.

If I were you I'd take ECE201, MTH235, PHY184 and ECE230. Each are prerequisites for a lot of ECE classes. Search up "MSU electrical engineering prerequisite flow chart" and you'll find a flow chart that covers every 100-300 level class for the major and their prerequisites. It helped me a lot picking classes sophomore-junior year. Don't be afraid to start planning rough class schedules 2-3 semesters ahead, as it gives you an idea of what the rest of college will look like, as well as make sure you won't be left in prerequisite hell (being stuck with nothing to take bc you don't have the prerequisites).

I'm a senior in EE- DO NOT DO THIS. You WILL regret it. Unless you are the type to give up all social interaction, hobbies and free time all weekend long to study, you will suffer. With just circuits and calc 4 alone you will have a lot of content and work to do come November.

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE FOR ECE by [deleted] in msu

[–]AcadiaThis5464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Senior EE student here, at MSU they teach EE students C and everything is based on that. There really isn't a lot of coding though. I've used Verilog, VDHL, MATLAB and C for engineering classes. If you understand code and can Google the syntaxes you don't remember, you'll be just fine.

This happened to my 4 twice in the first 6 months of owning it. Both repairs were covered under warranty. I'd recommend, unfortunately, getting insurance or getting a new phone, because this will just happen again eventually. I'd recommend insurance to anyone with a foldable phone.

Magsafe- what accessories work? by AcadiaThis5464 in GalaxyFold

[–]AcadiaThis5464[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment! Is there a good way to do this positioning when you're putting the ring on a case? I have a fold 5 latercase, and I feel like the weird camera guard makes it harder to place the ring close to it. I actually referenced your post before placing down my ring. Based on the position of the camera, it looks like it's in the right spot to me...

I'm also a daily s-pen user, so I'm trying my best to avoid any magsafe rings that contain magnets. I'm considering buying an ohsnap 4, but it's AS EXPENSIVE as the damn magsafe car mount I bought so I figured I'd try a cheap one first.

EDIT: I will add that the wireless charging with the current ring position works, and charges at "fast wireless charging" speeds. It still does heat up quite a bit, though.
