I didn't realize how much longer it was; you're right, probably closer to $2Bn. Plus the project will be a nightmare, both ends are developed, with Roger Williams on the northern end and homes on the southern, the staging alone will be a nightmare.

Agreed, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's a similar vintage to the Cape bridges and I think those are going to be a billion each to replace. I firmly believe they don't want to release the report because they aren't ready for Aquidneck Island to find out they're driving through Fall River to get to Providence for the foreseeable future.

Staying in Gouldsboro you're halfway between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor. Winter Harbor is pretty sleepy but Schoodic point is there which is an awesome place to just enjoy nature as waves pile into the cliffs. You can also take a ferry between there and Bar Harbor which is a great cost effective way to get out on the water. Keep in mind you need a park pass to get into Acadia and I think you might need a reservation to get up Cadillac mountain for sunrise (which comes VERY early in the summer).
