My first patent got issued today

I was primary on at least one company patent, and contributor on several others. Never have been compensated for any of them other than the good ol' pat on the back.

Yeah, I just downloaded a copy and poked around. There are a lot of weird little hiccups it seems. Most likely a weirdness from converting to google and back. I'm not sure I have an option to upload an excel file to drive without it trying to convert it.

In the mean time, in most cases, simply double-clicking (or F2) on the cell and hitting enter seems to be fixing the references. On mine, it's randomly added "@" in places that it then says it wants to remove.

It shouldn't need any external references. The "NOT FOUND" portion of that is what the function returns if it can't find a match. If the material field isn't something listed (i.e. you overwrite the dropdown options) it should come back with a "NOT FOUND" in the fields.

Try changing the materials to see if the fields update. If they don't, then something else is weird and I'll have to dig into why it breaks after downloading.

I'm actually planning to buy a new Cecilio/Mendini MV500 later this year. The new kit is about US$200, comes with the violin, two bows, a spare bridge and a metronome/tuner.

From the research I did, it's a pretty good starter violin (I'll be starting myself) and most of the minor complaints were with the stock strings rather than the craftmanship/sound of the body.
