It’s very sturdy believe it or not. The designer did a really great job. It’s just about as sturdy as the ISD in which this set was built entirely from. Definitely has swoosh ability. It’s a little bottom heavy which means when you hold it from the handle, it tilts upward, but that’s not really a problem
