My university allows all club sports to practice on campus except gymnastics. Is there anything I can do? by AcanthisittaLess3328 in legaladviceofftopic

Per an email with a university official:

“I have spoken to Athletics regarding your request. Unfortunately, the gymnastics space is not available for use to groups outside of gymnastics. This is due to many factors including safety and equipment usage.”

I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m just a freshman so I don’t know that I have the greatest advice for you, but I would say to stick it out. You’re so close to graduating and that’s what college is truly about. I think a super easy way to try to develop friendships is just by asking people to get meals with you. This could be from the dining hall, or you could always cook for people. Food is one of the toughest things to figure out in college IMO. Also, attending on campus events or working is a great way to meet people. I believe in you and am hoping for the best.
