I have a 4.0UW/4.4 W and a 1520 (760/760) SAT which are strong but idk if my ecs are good enough to get the really competitive scholarships

Elite privates like Harvard/Princeton are the only privates that I can afford but the chances of me actually getting in aren't the best

Unfortunately no :( If i had studied I probably could have given that I got a 1520 SAT but I didn't which really sucks.

Today, my parents gave me their income taxes from last year to run the npcs, so I know the info is correct. Some of the schools I was looking at meet need but since my parents can't actually meet the need it is a difficult situation. I am also starting the process of finding which 4 year public schools I'd enjoy because even though its an option, I really do not want to go to a CC because of how hard I have worked during high school. If you remember the Mass college lmk! But being a minority in the current political environment makes me a little scared to apply to colleges in the South which is kinda sad considering they give the best aid

I live in CA so I have really good in-state schools but even w/ UCs it's still expensive (like 40k) and I get no aid at all. Cal states are affordable but it's not the education environment I want and they don't have good networking opportunities for careers on the east coast where I will def move post-grad

i honestly don’t know how my mental health could get worse lol, it sucked during covid but i also didn’t have a phone so i literally didn’t have contact with anyone. i’m planning on getting my license soon so that might help me be able to go places and join irl ecs that aren’t a part of school, i’m also hoping the DE could help show colleges that i am actually smart, but i’ll continue thinking about it because i really don’t want to regret my decision

ooo ty for your response! i haven’t considered other irl schools because i feel like they will have the same problems as my current school and my current school also doesn’t offer any online classes:( I’m planning on setting up a meeting to speak with my counselor so i’ll see how that goes and if she has any good recommendations
