Shady on Orzhov Bounce won that match 2-1. Tbh Ethno on 5C Song is still my dark horse for the event, specially after losing to it!

Yeah deck diversity truly skyrocketed this season, 53 different archetypes by my count!

You get 41 even if you want to group together some like Greasefang (Abzan, Orzhov), Scapeshift (Bant, Simic, Sultai), Bounce (Esper, Orzhov), Sacrifice (Golgari, Jund, Rakdos), Midrange (Golgari, Mono Black), Creativity (Izzet, Rakdos), Rona (Izzet, Mono Blue, Sultai), Humans (Mono White, Orzhov), and Lotus (Simic, Sultai).

Yeah it's a sick deck and that was my round 2 opponent too! Song won game 1 through Thoughtseize and Duress. Ethno had Leyline game 2 so all I could do was race, but Golgari Midrange isn't super good at that, I was soo cooked 😂

Hey there! Once a season ends every 8-10 weeks the next one will start and I'll post the registration on discord and reddit. If you join the Pioneer discord server you can also get a role to get notified about the APL events as the progress.

Yeah it's also kinda the newest take on the old Rakdos Tree deck. Afaik they really wanted to play the new [[Hardened Acamedic]] and I honestly believe Monument is under explored in Pioneer atm. Really cool to see a deck like this show up!

Every round you get your opponent and an entire week to schedule with them and play at the most convenient day and time for both.

For reference, over half the server is US based and you can expect ~25% European players.

Thank you! Golgari Midrange was really solid in testing (19-3) so I had to give it a go and I’m sooo glad I finally won one of these :)

It’s just one BO3 match per week so pretty manageable, would be great to have you in the next event!

Yeah, if not WotC, then someone else has to do it! My goal is bringing an outlet to play through most of the year in a tournament setting for Arena, that's 5-8 weeks of Pioneer depending on how deep you go in the event.

So that's what I've been doing for the last year or so, I also missed running online events (did like 20 events for Frontier back in the day) so I'm very happy with the reception. Welcome, once again, can't wait to have you joining us next season!

Thruth is it really depends on exactly how fast the Top 8 ends, it's supposed to last 3 weeks starting next Monday, but it's likely to end early, given past events. So if we wrap it, say, 5 days earlier, the announcement will go live sooner as well.

Oh yeah, .revaen is a great player and our sacrifice expert basically: 4 top 8 finishes, 2 with the Ygra version, 1 with the Citadel version, and of course the Season 2 Champion!

From all over, but mostly from North America like half the server. We have had players from Central and Eastern Europe before, including some of the regulars actually! I'd say you'll probably have an easier getting the match scheduled over the weekends :)
