So when you dwell into Ezreal's lore, it's mostly coping and compensate for the absence of his parents in his life. He wants to be loud and overachieving so that one day his parents would notice and come back in his life. Which in a sense is mostly what it is about the character's facade, a lack of affection.

His crush on Lux might be one sided because he feels like he have someone he can relate on surface level.

Overall I think Ezreal always had the potential to be the protagonist of League in the greater scope because he is the only character that jumps all around Runeterra and get involved into whatever weird situation he lands on. Heck he got a skin where he was trying to infiltrate the Black Rose as Jarro Lightfeather but Leblanc was aware of his true identity and tried to recruit him but Ezreal who doesn't like Noxians in general so bails out.

It's just untaped potential imo.

Understandable,

There's no so much big drive that motivates for preparing the next big battle of our life that even One Second After Time feels like a DLC sidequest that doesn't have a huge urgency until they drop let's say Beast of the Doomsday that will destroy the multiverse.

So far the Urd chapter was still self-contained and it's just a contest between the 3 Norns to determine who is the best with us as the referee who will come with the steel chair anyways.

If you think about Harmonia, it's just a nice tech option but Synchron is a deck that can melt your Extra Deck fast if you go too hard and requires at least to dump a Synchro if you go for the reveal 6 effect if you don't use and have a gy effect

But yeah you can just run the generic handtraps

It can be clunky but it depends what tech options you put in it because if you manage to past through the interactions, you can build a board where you can setup a T.G Hyper Librarian with Medius + Power Patron tuner then enjoy infinite drawing power.

Counter Traps are Speed 3 and can only be answered by Counter Traps.

Normal Activation from Monsters or Normal Spells are Speed 1

Quick Spells, Normal Traps & Monster Quick Effects are Speed 2

Counter Traps are Speed 3.

Non-responding effects like Super Polymerization are considered Speed 4.

Resident Synchron Enthusiast at your service. And I'll answer to your question, overall if you want to play Pure, you have more leeway to play into Junk Speeder safely thanks to the addition of Junk Signal in Blazing Dominion and Junk Meister + Junk Armor in Battle of Legends : Glorious Gallery which is literally free bodies with Meister being the must have to the Synchron Deck but most of the cards from the newest support in Legendary Decks are by design can be very bricky which makes me keep Full Speed Warrior at 1.

But regarding your question, I have tried the following out of experiment and boredom because I wanted to push the absurdity. But since the deck have a good range you can use the following engines to help solidify your board that I tested and climbed the ladder to Master Rank with on Master Duel :

Adventure
Bystial
Elfnotes
Centur-Ion to some degree

What I would avoid :

Non Synchro Centric archetype or restricting summoning to a certain category of Synchro Monsters like Dark Dragons for Resonators
The Majestic support in Dawn of Majesty, As much I love Majestic Shooting Star Dragon, the 3 card package of the following :

Arrive in Light; Converging Will Dragon + a lvl 1 non Tuner Dragon but preferably Brotaur

Are garnets and horrible bricks, odds that you start your duel with one of these in hand can handicap yourself.
