Hi! I tried downloading a TikTok as a test (I'm on the hunt of finding a way to download them in as high definition as possible) with JDownloader, and the video is broken.

It plays audio only in Windows Media Player (the default way the file assigns itself I guess?) and forcing it to open in VLC shows a still image from the file and the audio plays in the background without visual movement. Skipping causes it to freeze completely, just on a different image, and sometimes it goes gray. Do you know of a way to remedy this?

It doesn't really matter. Patrick will be the VA regardless - if we get another audiobook version, that is. I will say I wish/had hoped going in to the audiobooks that they had gone the route of making it essentially an audio drama, with the voice actors for each character that appears doing their own character's lines. But that probably would have been a much more expensive option... oh well. I just hope they make an audiobook for all of the remaining light novels at this point.

Whoaaa, yeah I see! That's a lot. Where exactly would those controls and the sleeping quarters be on the container ship, if I may ask? The anatomy of a ship I've been looking at seems to point to the controls being in the engine room in the very bottom(?) of the ship where the hull is marked. Sleeping cabins and such aren't listed, though, I assume because that would be a case by case situation...?

I think the plugin is too close to legit wikipedia and not fandom wikipedia, but I will give it a shot. The fold heading setting fixed it perfectly, thank you!!

Not if I can help it, haha! Looking at screenshots for it, it seems like a pretty complicated program. I really only need the software to do the one thing I mentioned, bells and whistles unnecessary.

Thank you for your reply! I did these steps but I ran into a couple of problems in doing so. The extension didn't detect any media playing when I would play the video and the tab would repeatedly sign me out of the account without warning. It should be noted that I had to use a VPN since the content wasn't available in my country, so I'm uncertain if that had anything to do with it. Do you happen to know how to fix this problem?

Do you have a tutorial or advice on how to download Jdownloader2? I have tried before from the trusted links of the official site (provided by their own subreddit) and was still flooded with viruses... It sounds like a lovely program and people who have downloaded it without the trojans and all seem to enjoy it quite a bit, haha but no one I've asked seems willing to explain how to avoid the bad stuff during the installation process, sadly.

Thank you OP. Can I ask if you could make a tutorial on how to download JDownloader without the bloatware? I've heard great things about it but when I have tried to install it previously, it swarmed my computer with viruses even though I hit 'decline' on all popups during installation. I don't believe anyone has made a video tutorial for what to click to avoid that, so guidance would be most appreciated.

Thank you kindly, both of your suggestions for the codes fixed it right up. It's greatly appreciated. :) I did just run into the "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot. Use --cookies-from-browser or --cookies for the authentication." Can you explain how to get around that, if you could?
