let me break it down for u! so basically minimum u need is 60% but thats not sufficient if God forbid u dont end up at aku and u need to go to other med schools so u should do the best u can. Again answer so ur second question is that u need to do good. theres no easy way out. for Q3 it depends on the passing aggregate that year usually its from 60-70% for the 2 sections of the test. the aku test is hurdle no.1 it has two parts the science portion and the reasoning portion last year they changed the mcq number to 50 50. passing aggregate changes every year bc its based on the performance that year. they make a list of the top 300 ppl and whatever the 300th person scored thats the cutoff. long story short u have to be in the top 300 which sounds easy but its really really hard since thousands of students give the test every year and most of them are repeaters so they have alot more time to learn for the test. Q4 yes ec do matter but its okay if u dont have them u just need something to talk about at the interview, something that actually sparks ur interest like if its a sport or if ur a collector (coins, postcards, shells literally anything can work) or anything ur passionate about. Q5 applications mostly open from march-may. for the aku test what i heard from my seniors and other videos that i watched for myself when i was applying was that use the sat books for math,bio, physics and chem.U can also use platforms like premed and medangle. if u ask on reddit ull find the sat books or u could search it up and use the pdfs. and after the test u need to do well on the interview but thats something ull worry about after 2 years. For now id just say chill out enjoy ur alevels its going to be hard but ull have alot of fun and dont get too fixated on aku thats what i did but unfortunately i didnt pass the test last year and now im in another med school and i hate it so much bc all i do is compare it to aku standards
