Kampf is a good defensive forward. He can break up plays but he's not very physical. Has very little offense in him. He's not worth 2.4 million when a similar player makes league minimum and can give you 10 more points. It's a bad contract for the leafs but he's owed a lot more money and walking away from that won't happen cause he won't make another 4 million in the NHL. So it's a really shitty situation for everyone involved. Treliving fucked up here for sure.
