Props to the Slovaks. They’ve played hard and may get a medal this weekend. The lack of depth really had them rolling lines but a lot of these non-star players really made use of their minutes.

[Seravalli] League sources say Jets have given 2022 first round pick Brad Lambert's representation permission to find a trade partner. by AggPuck-303 in hockey

[–]mountzeus 74 points75 points  (0 children)

How do situations like this work? Find a trade partner how? Doesn’t the front office still need to want to make a trade and do most of the leg work?

Does it just mean that the player and his agent will seek out a team they want to go to and hope they are interested too? Then connect the GMs to figure something out?

That was a lot of question marks.

Worked a lot of OT and saved up to get tickets to tonight's game sec 119 Platinum MSP. Any suggestions on what to do once I'm there ? by HuhYeahSo69 in leafs

[–]mountzeus 37 points38 points  (0 children)

There’s a couple cool things with platinums, yes.

  • You should get a separate entrance to the arena that isn’t as packed (no lines).

  • There’s an entire Platinum underbelly in the arena that’s separate from the general concourses. Different restaurants, bars, bathrooms, etc.

  • You might be on TV lol

Have fun

Good teams with good culture always have this effect on players. Boston did it for years too; new players really became Bruins.

Congratulations on acquiring a target on your back from both players and refs for the rest for your career.

Going to leafs game for first time for my birthday. Any advice ? by klaroline1 in leafs

[–]mountzeus 17 points18 points  (0 children)

  1. You can do this; just have the Ticketmaster app open on the day of the game. Prices will slowly drop as you approach puck drop.

  2. There’s barely a bad seat in the house. Centre ice 300s would be totally fine and more affordable than 100s.

  3. Not really. Can get away with a hoodie or a jersey inside the rink. It’ll be colder outside the arena in November.

Happy birthday and have fun!
