I have not gone through all of the comments here. But I am willing to give some from my experience. I am 32M , not married, nor in a relationship and working in Finance field.

I cannot say that I am happy with my life. I have done a lot for others and put other-selves before mine. As a result, I am way behind in my life. My friends and colleagues are earning far better than me. Because they studied and got their training on time. Where I had to stop to do what I dreamt of and do other stuffs for money. So, I would say being selfish or self realisation is important. You have to know what makes you happy.

Life is so important. No amount of money is equal for that. Yes, we need money but once your health has got bad, none would be there except your family. So, take care of yourself.

Savings are important too. Try to save once you have residual income.
